The calm before the storm perhaps. 24 teams were greeted by the promise of a good day weather wise that delivered as much with just a brief morning shower the only blight on a great day for bowls.

Another competitive day was the go with eight x3 winners and two x4 game winners. It is always a pleasure to welcome visiting players to the club and this week was no exception with a few of our regulars from Warkworth, Manly and Helensville again in the hunt.
