20 teams had heightened expectation with the next two Thursday Xmas Ham tournaments firmly in their sights .... or so the chat went.

An overcast yet pleasant day presented conditions that certainly should not have hindered many .... or so the chat went.

Our visiting teams were up to the challenge with both Warkworth and Carlton Cornwall teams featuring on the prize winners list, such a pleasure to have so many to our club again.

1st place: Martin Hitchings, Graeme Roberts, Allan McQuoid 4w, 27e, 65p

2nd place: Tom Gowie, Ross Ruddell, Mike Burke 4w, 25e, 46p

3rd place: Wayne Harris, Ray Brown, Chris Bailey 3.5w, 26e, 52p

4th place: Tony Garelja, Jeanine Browne, Wally Marsic 3w, 25e, 51p
