Another stunning day greeted our gathering of bowlers for another day on the greens, although a short, sharp nasty shower early in the morning sent our outdoor players scurrying for their jackets, and threatend to upset the status quo. However "a storm in a tea cup" was the ultimate outcome and play returned to normal with minimal disruption.

We had great pleasure in welcoming back to our club Chris & Nadia Bone (Barfoot & Thompson Orewa), our sponsor for the day. They were loaded with an array of extra goodies for our members, needless to say a memorable time was had by all. Chris spoke of their close association with our club that goes back a good number of years, and the fun and comarardery they have experienced more recently with their participation in our Business House bowls.
